Hire a Motorhome

We hired a motorhome from Highwood Motorhomes for a week travelling around Norfolk and, as complete first timers, couldn’t have had a better experience. Highwood is a family run business and everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful from start to finish. A special mention to Rob, Katie and Owen, who were all brilliant. The handover was excellent, really thorough without being overwhelming, and we left feeling confident about how everything worked. The motorhome itself was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for the week, which made our first motorhome trip incredibly easy. We absolutely loved the experience and will definitely be hiring from Highwood again. We are now at the stage of working out exactly what type and layout of motorhome will suit us best before we eventually buy our own, so hiring a few different models first is going to be part of the fun. We would have no hesitation in recommending Highwood. A really well run, friendly family business and a fantastic introduction to motorhome life.

Brilliant from start to finish couldn’t fault anything. Very helpful staff. Very informative on arrival to help with set up of the van. Will definitely use again and recommend to others. Thank you

Excellent and efficient service from start to finish. We booked the T7 volkswagon campervan for a 11 days / 10 nights to do the NC500/Skye / one night in Keswick on way back. Katie and Owen fantastic , booking easy , pick up and drop off smooth and all information given and relaxed with full support if needed when away. Van was excellent had everything we needed for trip, lovely to drive and our dog loved it. Would definately book again without hesitation , highly recommend , huge THANKYOU to all the team xx😃

We hired a camper for a bit of comfort so we could attend Bromyard Folk Festival while I was pregnant. The camper provided by Highwood Motorhomes was in excellent condition and suited our needs down to the ground. We hired a slighlty larger one than we needed but this meant that myself, my 6' 8" husband and our large Scottish Deerhound dog all fit with relative comfort. The festival is notorious for getting cold at night but the camper maintained the heat of the day so well we didn't need to turn on the heating. Would definitely recommend.

We hired the Fiat Sunlight Cliff 600 H5 campervan, which was the ideal size for Scotland’s single-track roads, very comfortable for two people and fully equipped, making for an extremely enjoyable experience. A special thank you to Owen, who was always on hand throughout our trip and easy to get hold of, even for minor issues. I highly recommend Highwood Motorhomes, not least for Kate’s excellent assistance during the pre-hire arrangements. In short, I appreciated the customer care of a family-run business combined with the professionalism of a large company!

Can’t recommend Highwood Motorhomes highly enough. We hired an motorhome for 5 days to go to a festival. Excellent communication all the way through the booking process to Owen’s handover of the motorhome. No question was deemed too silly … and there were many. Even kindly let us know we had left some booze in the motorhome on its return 😂 The motorhome itself was the best we’ve hired. The beds were so comfy, enough storage for everything.. and we take a lot . Great layout and everything included that you would need . Definitely won’t be the last time we hire from them

Great communication, amazing customer service. Quality of motorhome outstanding. will use again.

Our third trip this year, and great service as always from Highwood. The brand new Sunlight T68 (H16) was a real treat - all the facilities and space we could want for the two of us to explore the North Wales coast and Snowdonia. We've been renting from Rob and the team for four years now, and reckon they can't be matched for the quality of their motorhomes, the value they offer or the service they provide. The booking and handover with Kate and Owen is friendly and efficient, and the security deposit is always refunded very promptly after return, with any minor damage dealt with very honestly and reasonably. Highly recommended!

First class service from Highwood Motorhomes right from the initial contact through to the final drop off of the motorhome. Friendly and professional throughout with everything being clear and transparent through the whole process. Had a lovely few days away in a lovely, clean and well looked after van. Thank you.

We've just had a hab check and BBQ point fitted to our campervan. The service was excellent and we are really pleased with the job they have done. 💯 recommended 👌

We honestly couldn’t recommend Highwood Motorhomes enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The team were incredible from start to finish. The whole handover process was so smooth and easy, and we were given a really thorough run-through of all the features and everything we needed to know before setting off. It made the whole experience completely stress-free. We also had constant communication with the team throughout our trip whenever we needed anything, which was brilliant. The van itself was absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and genuinely had everything we could possibly need. From utensils and cleaning products to bin bags, a washing line and pegs, they had thought of all the little things. We also had a table and chairs and a bike rack included, which made it perfect for our trip. There was also SO much storage! Cupboards galore meant we had plenty of space for all our stuff without feeling like we were living out of a suitcase. Everything had its place. It was also such a comfortable and easy drive, which made travelling around a pleasure. We had the best time and honestly didn’t want to give the van back! You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the whole experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. Special shoutout to Rob, Kate and Owen! Would absolutely hire from the team again! 🚐❤️

5 star service from start to finish. The online booking was easy and was soon backed up with a call from Rob to confirm details. A few days later I received an email with all the items that came with the hire and a list of optional extras. We hired the transporter campervan and it was perfect for us as a family of 4. We took a small tent for storage. The van is immaculate and really easy to drive. The pop top bed was a highlight for the kids but we could have easily slept up there. All in all a top experience, and if we don’t buy one, we will 100% be returning for another hire. Thanks to everyone at Highwood Motorhomes.

We hired the VW T7 from Highwood and headed down to Dartmouth for an adventure and see if I could persuade the other half to catch the vanlife bug! 🚐 The campervan was absolutely amazing...comfy, spotless, easy to drive and had everything we needed. We stayed on a couple of lovely sites, then finished the trip with a bit of wild camping on the last night…which was the perfect way to end it! 🌅🏕️ The service from Highwood was outstanding from start to finish. Friendly, helpful and genuinely made the whole experience hassle free. Safe to say the other half has been converted to vanlife and we're looking forward to the next trip and will 100% be back to Highwood.

We would highly recommend Highwood Motorhomes. We had an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highwood were very professional and thorough in their approach and we had no problems whatsoever.

We had a fantastic experience hiring this motorhome for our family coastal holiday and festival. The van was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had no issues at all throughout the trip, and the service from start to finish was friendly, professional, and hassle-free. We’d definitely hire from them again and highly recommend them!

just returned from our two weeks holiday in the outer hebrides and couldn’t be more happy with the motorhome we hired from highwood . everything you need is supplied with the motorhome and Rob. Owen and katie gave me a very professional service a big thankyou to them . i wouldn’t highly recommend them if your looking for a quality motorhome . many thanks ian

What a pleasant and business like group of people to deal with. This is my second time of hiring from Highwood and both times have been without any complication. This time I hired a brand new Transporter T7 which is new to their fleet and I have to say it was an impressive bit of kit, totally electric with all the modern driving aids.

Great holiday, superb van and excellent customer service from start to finish. Offered a very early start which was very much appreciated, always in contact if you have a question, very reasonable pricing and very communicative throughout the process from booking to verification checks. Thank you from Andrew Alison and Scamp too.

Brilliant service from start to finish Booking with Katie was easy and informative And dealing with Owen for the demo/ handover and return was brilliant And a excellent motor home making out trip to Silverstone with our toddler stress free and relaxed

Great motorhome hire from Highwood to visit Silverstone for F1. Motorhome was very well equipped, in great clean condition and really comfortable. Highly recommend.

2nd time Google asked me to review this place . I will as we highly recommend it . Very professional business with very new Motorhomes to rent. Excellent communication from start to finish. You can hire extra items such as bedding , BBQ etc or take your own . Great option to be able to pay extra to pick up early or drop off later to extend holiday. Definitely 5 star plus +

We hired a motorhome from here Fiat Sunlight i think called. Was a very new van as did all their fleet . From the initial enquiry and through the whole process it was very professional . The Van was a great layout and just enough equipment for us to go off on a short break . You can hire extra bit if you wish like BBQ or toaster , bedding etc but we took our own bedding. Vans super clean and you get given Information pack and phone numbers incase any issues. We had non but good to know incase. Its great that you can pay for early pick up and later drop off so that allowed us to make the most of our rental period. Highly recommend.

Rob and the Highwood team made the whole process seamless. The purpose of the rental was to introduce a campervan to one of my very pessimistic dogs gradually with a view to longer trips and purchase down the line. Better to test things out with a rental rather than spend several thousand on a van that Henry wouldn’t get into and be comfortable with ☺️. Really great staycation experience and would definitely recommend if you’re looking to rent or buy a motorhome or camper. We did manage a little day trip to Wales and took my elderly dad along for the ride and he loved it too! Thank you Highwood! Victoria, Henry and Stanley 🐾

Top class service ........very professional company with friendly staff. Motorhome was spotlessly clean & had all the necessary utensils required. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Highwood.....👍🏻

Absolute brilliant company! Was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know about the motorhome. Had such an amazing adventure in the H6! Staff were so helpful and polite. Will definitely be returning to highwood Motorhomes in the future.
